AI&#8217;s impact on tech used by the field service industry is increasingly apparent.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>For Commusoft, we announced AI elements added to our own software during 2025\u2019s Connect &amp; Preview event, and AI:den (the name of our native AI-assistant) is already a strong component within the platform.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s a lot to be said for the impact of AI\u2014too much to address it all here\u2014but at Commusoft, we see AI as a tool to support businesses. First, by saving them time, and second, as a means to generate more revenue (more on this below).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But there\u2019s also the wider impact of AI on the hardware that workers are carrying, as well as in the software that field service businesses use to manage their work, every day.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, already powerful apps are gaining extra power and smart tools are becoming increasingly useful. Much is still emerging, but it\u2019s also fascinating to see the ways that both younger and older generations of engineers are using AI to work more efficiently, especially as tools become more intuitive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Broadly speaking, developments are sure to come thick and fast. However, there\u2019s still a long road ahead before truly practical AI really makes its mark, although it\u2019s clear the strides made in the last couple of years alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But it\u2019s this point that we\u2019re exploring in this blog. We want to highlight the places where we see AI being especially useful today.
