AI is everywhere right now, and it’s overhyped. Many people and companies are exaggerating its current impact, and I believe we\u2019re still in the very early days of seeing it deliver a solid return on investment in a real-world commercial setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, a few companies are beginning to demonstrate how AI can be integrated seamlessly into a product, not just as a buzzword, but as a tool that genuinely improves a business. This isn’t about using a basic chat prompt to draft an email. For me, AI has two foundational pillars inside Commusoft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Two Pillars of Commusoft AI<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first pillar is about making your team more effective<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is about getting more from your existing staff. Can we help technicians on-site provide more detailed, accurate information with fewer mistakes? Can we help your office staff work more efficiently and effectively to deliver a higher quality level of service? And can we unlock automation that wasn’t previously possible, like automatically replying to customers?
AI has already proven itself in these areas, and it’s an essential part of the day-to-day fabric of what we\u2019re building. It’s about empowering your people to do more and do it better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second pillar is about increasing revenue generation with smarter tools.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most significant cost in a trades business is often the back office. They\u2019re a cost centre, while your technicians on-site are the revenue generators. Our core focus is on how we can use AI to drive down that cost by either replacing specific tasks to boost revenue-generating opportunities, instead or, in some cases, completely replacing the office staff. The goal is simple: let technology fill the gap so you can focus on hiring more revenue-generating team members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While I don\u2019t think we are entirely at a “staff-free office” yet, the technology has reached a stage where there are real opportunities to automate tasks that humans would have previously completed. In this way, AI agents<\/strong> will help you win back time that you can reinvest in revenue generating opportunities instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
