Welcome to our round up of Connect & Preview 2026.
This year’s event marked the third showcase in the event’s history and we took the chance to add to the structure and connectivity of the day!
In the morning, we introduced three dedicated breakout sessions as well as a fireside chat led by our very own clients. Later, in the afternoon, we had the opportunity to deliver a detailed keynote and enjoy partnership presentations, too.
It proved to be a fantastic day with so much community engagement on a greater scale than ever before!
Below, you’ll find an overview of everything that happened, so let’s dive in:
Connect & Preview 2026: Building on Success
The benefits of Connect & Preview are clear from the event’s name: it’s an opportunity to connect with clients, staff, and industry professionals. We also take the opportunity to preview major developments and highlight how Commusoft is evolving its offerings.
Connect & Preview has always been an exciting event for the team here at Commusoft, as it allows us to showcase solutions based on the real needs we hear from our audience.
In his keynote, Jason wanted to emphasise this point:
What I’ve always loved most about Connect & Preview is the chance to network with all of you—to hear about your day-to-day challenges and discuss how Commusoft can help solve them.
In fact, many of the exciting announcements I’m sharing with you today came directly from conversations at past shows and feedback submitted to our brilliant support team.
What’s so rewarding is to see the enthusiasm of our clients and ideas for what they’d like to see in the future.
The opportunity to meet face to face really does add to the partnerships we’ve created over the years and many of our guests have been with us for well over a decade!
We had visitors from far and wide and a great mix of field service professionals representing over 50 companies with decades of experience.
AI and Phones+ really stood out for us,
Said Jo Sinclair, visiting from Sureview Services. With Rob Ward, also from Sureview, elaborating:
There’s a lot there that’s good for us. We may be a small business, but [Commusoft] helps you compete!
Everyone was sharing insights and learning together, which made the day really special.
I’m glad I’ve come up ’cause I’ve learned a lot and I think it’s given me better knowledge and understanding and not just how you guys do it, but speaking to other users about what I can do that would help improve what we do.
Melissa Lee-Kirkup, Chiswell Heating Ltd.
With visitors travelling from far and wide, there’s a real mix of field service businesses and partners who attend the day, so we get to meet a host of great characters who made the day really special.
Let’s take a closer look at some of the additions to this year’s event…
A Change of Pace
While our events page had a rundown of the agenda, there’s a lot to cover from the day itself!
To build on the success we’ve seen at previous events, we wanted to really emphasise the opportunity to connect and worked hard on getting our clients more immersed in the day.
This is why we introduced two new segments to the agenda, alongside our keynote and networking experience:
- A morning of breakout sessions, crossing three distinct topics (more below).
- A fireside chat from Commusoft clients and partners, with Q&A from the audience.
Each of these sessions gave us the chance to get clients more involved than they’ve been before, with talks focusing on how to get the most out of their plans, or detail about our Analytics+ add-on, for example.
The fireside chat was also a brilliant way for us to hear from clients directly: with 3 special guests sat front and centre, they were discussing the best ways to use Commusoft and offer advice to their peers, as well as a field a Q&A session to dive even deeper to the topics.
The day concluded with the chance to network after Jason Morjaria, Commusoft’s CEO, delivered his keynote speech.
You’ll find a summary of the keynote below, and you can read the Press Release, here.
Connect & Engage: Breakout Sessions
The breakout rooms […] gave you more opportunities to talk and listen. We enjoyed all of them!
Mandy Allard, Premium Heating, Plumbing and Cooling.
Here’s a quick look at what our breakout sessions covered. You can find links to the webinar versions of these sessions, too:
Breakout 1: Maximising Your Commusoft Plan
It’s true that not every business needs to upgrade: sometimes it’s best to consolidate on the tools you have and understand how to get the most value out of what you have before moving on to expand into something new.
In this session, we discussed more about how you can understand what clients have access too, and explore what they need.
Breakout 2: Advancing Your Plan & Growing Your Business
This session was all about unlocking more value by exploring various plans within Commusoft.
We want to make it clear when and how you can add more value to your business and the ways in which Commusoft can help.
Our Core and Plus plans are designed to help you grow. This session focused on how to unlock that potential.
Breakout 3: Approaching ROI and Analytics
This session was all about finding hidden margins and using Analytics within Commusoft to better understand your own data.
With this information, you can drive cash flow and boost profitability.
A Client-Led Fireside Chat
It’s important to hear from the people with using Commusoft day in day out: we learn so much from our conversations in support and this feedback has helped Commusoft to create the products and tools we have today. We wanted to share that knowledge with our audience, too.
With that in mind, the fireside chat gave us an opportunity to put our guests front and centre. All together, our guests could hear from their peers who have walked in their shoes, whilst also asking questions.
Alongside Commusoft’s host, Grace Lanser, Customer Marketing Manager, our audience heard from James Ashton (Able Plumbing Solutions), Phil Clarke (PCL), and Paul Deadmon (Trade Systems Consultancy) for an unscripted panel discussion.
They shared real-world insights gathered from their own experience with Commusoft, where they’ve found success, as well as challenges like the difficulty in managing engineers when it comes to tech!
We’ll have more to share on the entire conversation soon, but Phil shared this great snipper about how PCL have found success in boosting revenue with Commusoft.
He highlighted that:
The only way I’ve ever managed to increase revenue per head is either to charge more money or to be more efficient. And Commusoft actually allows us to do both of those things.”
He elaborated on how they’ve been able to boost their professional image, improve efficiency, and gather detailed insights which all contribute to saving money and adding to their opportunities.
Their conversations was a real highlight as they also discussed the non-negotiable processes that support business to grow at scale.
There’s much more to share on this, so we’ll share that very soon!
Jason’s Keynote: Commusoft’s Future of Field Service
Commusoft CEO Jason Morjaria takes to the stage to unveil an exclusive preview of upcoming platform developments, major feature releases, and Commusoft’s long-term vision.
Here’s a quick look at some of the biggest announcements made on the day!
Phones+ powered by Dialpad: Ensure Seamless Communication
Commusoft has partnered with Dialpad, an enterprise telecom leader, to provide clients with a dedicated phone system that’s built directly into their field service engine.
By securely storing all phone communications in a centralised location, users can eliminate manual note-taking, ensure smoother communication, and resolve queries faster.
Private Application Framework: Build Custom Integrations
Secure access to the Commusoft API will enable clients to integrate their processes directly with its platform. It contains a robust set of tools that deliver reliability, speed and a seamless user experience, allowing businesses to develop custom solutions tailored to their specific needs.
Job Record Screen: View Every Job At a Glance
A newly reimagined design provides clients with access to critical information in a single screen, giving them a concise overview of every job at a glance.
It’s supported by features like live profit tracking and AI summaries, which will help businesses protect their profit margins and make decisions quicker.
Sales+ Mobile App: Access your CRM on Mobile
This extends full CRM functionality straight to a field service engineer’s smartphone, offering them access to their own personal opportunity dashboard.
Highlights include the ability to check contract values, review scheduled activities, log call notes, and call clients, with every interaction instantly syncing back to the central office dashboard.
AI at Commusoft
There’s almost too much to include here so stay tuned for our full breakdown of Commusoft AI!
- Intelligent AI Phone Agents: Features three specialized agents including the Boiler Service Agent (proactively books service appointments), Speed to Lead Agent (instantly calls out-of-hours web leads), and Customer Feedback Agent (gathers reviews and routes support issues).
- AI:den Job Report Summaries: A one-click tool that condenses engineer field notes and provides a quick way to create follow-up tasks for the office.
- Scheduling+ with AI: An intelligent routing and scheduling engine that optimizes daily travel times, batch-dispatches multiple jobs in seconds, and suggests optimal replacement slots when rescheduling.
There was a hugely positive reception to the ways in which AI is being implemented into Commusoft:
There’ll be more to come, so keep your eyes peeled for more information, including our highlight reel of the day, Jason’s keynote recording, and much, much more in the months to come!
Wrapping up Connect & Preview 2026
All in all, the day is our chance to provide clients with a detailed look at Commusoft’s vision for the future of field services.
We’re humbled to have received praise for the ways in which clients see Commusoft consistently trying to innovate and introduce positive change through our products, and this year’s event is no exception to that approach.
